The Great swamp Conservancy is hosting an interpretive walk led by two students from the State University of New York College of Environmental Science and Forestry (SUNY-ESF). This interpretive walk is free of charge and geared towards families with elementary school-aged children.
It will take guests through different habitats found at the GSC, identify the animals that might live there, explain what animals need to survive, and how humans can impact natural spaces.
At the end of the walk, there will be an activity to reinforce what kids have learned.
This event is perfect for some fun family learning!
This walk will happen rain or shine! Please come dressed for the outdoors! Rain or muck boots are strongly suggested.
