To kick off the 50th Earth Day, the Great Swamp Conservancy of Canastota will be having their first ever mud run on April 18th at 9:00AM. This will be an unofficial 5k race that will be great for beginner runners that are feeling a little adventurous or anyone that just wants to do something a little crazy! The course will be on the GSC’s very own trails that run along a large swamp that boasts about 45 Great Blue Heron nests and a beaver lodge. This race will not be officially timed so come and run, walk, or skip along the trails, no pressure, just a lot of mud! This race will be the beginning of a fun filled day at the GSC, so be sure to stick around or come back later after a shower!

Sign up for the race by sending us your registration form in the mail, with a check made out to the Great Swamp Conservancy, or drop off your registration form with cash or a check!
